D-is for Door,and this Door is from an old Building at Rana Bygdemuseum,Stenneset.The Building is from the Year 1800.
This Door is from the Mainbuilding at Rana Bygdemuseum,Stenneset.This Building is from about 1780,and was the Priest`s resident.
Now it is used to hold importent meetings in our community,weddings,and
it`s also where the King and Queen have been stying on their visits to our City.

Flotte dører Anne Berit :) Har jobbet mye i det siste så jeg prøver å si NEI til å være med på andre ting for tida, for å hente meg inn igjen :-) Men jeg kommer på klubben en tur på torsdagen ja !! Sees da!
Det e fint på Stenneset. Skulle dratt dit på tur en dag i nysnøen :) Kanskje i helga? :)
Det finnes utrolig mye fint i gamle byggverk! Masse detaljer man kan nyte av også, om man titter litt nærmere........

The doors are in such good shape for being so old! nice "D".
My door is always open to good friends, but I can't leave it open when I go for a walk or even upstairs anymore, there are always uninvited guests around nowadays. We had already to deal with a burglary.

Those doors are lovely - both of them. Old wooden doors have so much character.
This is an interesting post...I like the green door and the detail above it...and the contrast between the two doors
I thought about D for doors, but wouldn't have found any as interesting as yours; great shots.
There is something fascinating about doors, isn't there? I love old, or decorative, doors. I suppose it's our human curiosity: what is behind them? Can we open them? What will we find?
I love both of those. But I think the old wooden one is my favourite.
